Bollywood hot actress Sahil Zaroo, an accused in the Rahul Mahajan drug case, was arrested today for allegedly slapping his girlfriend and Jannat heroine Sonal Chauhan at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport, the police said.
It resulted in a minor altercation between the two during which Zaroo slapped Chauhan in public and also threw her mobile phone on the floor," said a senior officer from the Santa Cruz airport police station.
Chauhan's father, who had come to see her off at the airport, assaulted Zaroo when he was being taken away by security, the officer added.
She knew Zaroo for some time and was avoiding him lately due to which he would send her obscene SMSes," he added. Zaroo was arrested under Sections 323 (causing hurt), 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), 448 (tres-pass), 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) and 427 (causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code.
