What sets Bhumika apart from other actresses is her warm looking face and homely smile. Youngest daughter of an army officer, from child hood Bhumika went to different places in India. Her favorite travel destination is Hill Station. She started her career as a model. She moved to Mumbai in 1997 and started doing ad films and music videos. Till now, she has done more than fifteen ad films and the most successful among them was the Ponds Powder campaign. As an actress she first starred in a Telugu film “Yuvakudu” in 2000. Her second film Khushi was released in 2001 and it was a big hit. Her major success in Hindi movie came in 2003. The movie “Tere Naam” with Salman Khan was a smash hit.
